Thai Navy today’s has it’s own Naval Special Warfare Unit, a SEALs, which is base on US Naval SEALs. (of course US Navy help establish this unit about 40 years ago and cooperation still going on today)
New structure of RTN call for a Naval Special Warfare Command, could be compared to US Naval Special Warfare Command in term of structure.
It’s mark a beginning by the commission of 4 local-build special warfare fast craft.
The fast craft is looks like the Swedish CB90, the different I can see is the rare sloop where you can ride the fast boat up or down.
The fast craft build by Marsun shipbuilding, who build T.992 – 993 patrol boat. Four of them were build and were designated as P.51 – 54.
It’s equipped with waterjet engine which make the boat can go as fast as 42 knot with the 370 nautical mile in range.
This is the first of its kind in RTN, also the first with the SEALs.

Looks like a mix beetween an CB90 and a Mark 5. Do you have any info about those boats, speed, engine, crew?
